Cape May Meadows, the vantage point of this shot, is home to many species of wildlife, particularly during the fall migration.  The Meadows is a series of meadows, small ponds and wetland areas with paths leading to the beach where the Piping Plover nests.  The Cape May Lighthouse is barely visible in this shot, on the horizon just to the left of the sun.
