This Ring-billed Gull is on the beach along the channel between Brigantine Island and Atlantic City, NJ.  The Ring-billed Gull, Laurus delawarensis, is the most common gull in most places in North America.  It is found not only on beaches and near water but in parking lots, open fields, and near restaurants.
