Raccoon and Canoe

This Raccoon, usually a nocturnal creature, came wandering out into the daylight at the Anne Kolb Nature Center in Hollywood Florida. These highly intelligent and adaptable mammals are omnivores that will eat almost anything including birds, mice, crayfish, frogs, fruit, nuts, plants and garbage. Their habitat ranges across the Americas.
