The streamlined beauty of the Common Dolphin is evident as he rises above the water to breathe.  Dolphins and whales, both mammals, once lived on land but returned to the sea.   This species of dolphin lives in the Atlantic Ocean where I captured this moment about 30 miles off the coast of New Jersey.
