The Anhinga, Anhinga anhinga, is found on the Southeastern coast of the US and Mexico. Sometimes referred to as the "snake bird" Anhingas feed on fish.  This one in a typical pose drying the wings is along the road at the Shark River entrance to the Everglades National Park.
