The White Woodpecker, Melanerpes candidus, is a bird of the savanna grasslands of Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina.  This pair and several others were interested in a wasp nest on the back of a billboard.   I was particularly interested in watching the birds hang by one toe to feed on the wasps.
