| As we returned home from a day in
the Blue Ridge Mountains of West Virginia and Virginia, on a late August day in
2003, we
came upon a large group of migrating Common Nighthawks. One posed
beautifully near the setting sun. The Common Nighthawk, Chodeiles
minor, is found widely across Canada, the US and Mexico. |
