This wildflower, Sanguinara canadensis forma multiplex, a member of the poppy family, occurs widely across northeastern North America.  This double form, sometimes referred to as a peony flower, is in Jenkins Arboretum, Devon PA. It is my favorite flower in Jenkins and blooms in early April for only a few days.
