The Double Bloodroot, Sanguinara canadensis forma multiplex, is a member of the poppy family, and the single form occurs widely across northeastern North America.  This double form, a much rarer variety, is in Jenkins Arboretum, Devon Pennsylvania.  The flower is only a couple of inches across and when in bloom is only about four or five inches tall.  To get this shot I wanted to get the feeling of being inside the flower.
